Maple and Sorghum

Perhaps stemming from the strong sugaring tradition in Maine (where I was raised), maple syrup is one of my very favorite value-added products that we make on VVR. We do not have nearly as many maple trees as we would like, so VVR’s delicious and distinctive syrup always goes fast,

Sorghum syrup, though not made from a perennial like maple syrup, will be a new project for VVR during the 2015 season. Our sorghum will be grown organically and processed on-farm.
